What each status means
Five statuses are used and no others. They are deliberately closed, so no page can invent its own way of saying “soon”.
- Closed beta: there is real operation today, with limited beta access.
- Available at launch: planned for launch, not operating yet.
- Planned: on the roadmap, with no committed date.
- To be confirmed: eligibility depends on a condition that is not resolved yet. It is not a promise.
- Not available: 1V1 does not operate there, and the table says why.

On sanctions, and why the distinction matters
1V1's coverage is the entire American continent, with the exclusions in the table above. Those exclusions follow the sanctions programs of the U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), but precision matters here because not all of them work the same way.
OFAC distinguishes comprehensive embargoes, which prohibit virtually all transactions without a license, from targeted programs, which apply to specific listed persons and entities rather than to a whole country. In the Americas, the only comprehensive embargo in force applies to Cuba.
For Venezuela and Nicaragua the programs are targeted. Even so, 1V1 has decided not to operate in either. That is an internal risk decision and goes beyond what the sanction requires; it is stated this way so as not to attribute to OFAC a prohibition it has not issued.
